Postmortem



What Went Right:

The mechanic is pretty simple for players to use and get use to, you can easily differentiate the villager from the monsters in the scene. Creating the different levels and having them scale appropriately went very well.


What Went Wrong:

We connected the theme, but we also could have done a better job in creating the environment for the player and adding more visual feedback. Some ideas or assets were created but weren’t used or implemented anywhere.


Next Steps:

Our next steps would be to add animations and a background image to make the environment more noisy and connected to our theme. I would also be interesting to add a WASD component to move the villager along with using the mouse to drag monsters away.
